Emo Court grounds are amazing to visit and have enjoyed walks with my family on many occasions, always stopping for coffee in Catoca. I visiting last Saturday morning with my children and sister and was very disappointed with the service. The woman who took my order was rude and very unhelpful. I will be slow to stop for coffee here... More

Visited the tea rooms for lunch. Arrived at 13.45 to be told there was no soup. Walked into the the actual seating area and had to move table on two occasions due to the dirt on both the floor and the tables themselves. The staff member serving us was rude and uninterested. We asked for a glass to drink our... More

We often used to go to CaToCa for lunch on Sunday, or a treat mid week. We have decided to no longer go here. The owner has little respect for customers. The area where you order and pay for food is crammed with stick, no where to leave your tray comfortably to pay and I find the experience v stressful.... More

This was our first time experiencing afternoon tea, and what a terrific experience it was in this historical landmark. We had the good fortune of having "Kate" look after us and this also added to our enjoyable afternoon tea, as she provided attentive/friendly service while allowing us private time to enjoy our meal - always appearing at just the right... Have eaten here a few times. The grounds of Em are just so beautiful and many times I've visited I've given this place another chance in the hope that it lives up to the standard of its surroundings. To date, it's just one disappointment after another. I doubt anything here is homemade. Today my friend had tomato soup which she... More

Went for lunch with my daughter. We ordered fishcakes which were flat and tough with no evidence of fish. The salad which accompanied them however was lovely. The desserts were pleasant but it was clear they were not homemade. Coffee was good. The setting is beautiful. It is a pity the coffee shop does not live up to it. Service... More

I visited Ca To Ca for lunch recently in spite of having vowed some time ago to never cross the threshold due to the breathtaking rudeness of the owner on several occasions.Fortunately she was absent on this occasion but the place was dirty and the food was a disgrace. The tables were left uncleared, the floor was littered with debris and... More

Visiting the grounds of Emo Court and decided to stop off at the cafe for coffee and cake. Small and intimate with basic decor. Excellent coffees and accompanying scones and cakes. Cramped ordering area and its efficiency is questionable, table service would be better for the customer. Definitely worth a visit and very good al fresco area in better weather.
