You won't find better prices anywhere in Baton Rouge. Red sauce is the best I have tasted. The restaurant is dark and a little dingy, but we loved the food and the experience.

The moment you walk into this bistro its quaint and old world style sucks you in. It's a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or just a relaxing meal with family. The ambiance of the candles in the dark room sets to mood to take you back. I had the seafood ravioli it was amazing from the crab to the... More

A complete lack of cleanliness and worse hospitality shouts loudley over average to good food. Occsssionally, the food can be excellent but the extremely inconsistent preparation is not worth a roll of the food roulette wheel. Usually, a food comment results in a rebuttal rather than an effort to get it right. However, the real reason not to go is... More

Everything about this restaurant will leave you with strong opinions. Entering from Perkins you are met with a corner entrance in an old strip center. The restaurant is small and if full somewhat cramped. The original owner's kitchen table is still in the restaurant from 50 years ago. Almost every chair is a bit wobbly. Part of the charm or... We arrived late in town one weekday evening on a business trip and landed here for dinner. My co-worker told me how great the lasagna was at this place so he wanted to go back. We pulled up and the place looked closed. You would never consider to stop here if you're just driving by in the evening. It's tucked... More

I LOVE this place. It is in a dark and dingy corner of a location, but don't judge it from the outside (or the inside!) It is delightfully tacky with a small wait staff but it is extraordinarily delicious! The 3-day red sauce is to die for. Every dish is wonderful, but the Veal Parmesan is the best ever. Took... I recently dropped in to Pinetta's, an old restaurant that has been in Baton Rouge for years. It took forever for a waiter to seat the two of us and it wasn't even very busy. The complimentary rolls were finally brought to the table but they were nothing any better than bagged rolls from the grocery store. The Italian Salad... More

This restaurant is small but has very good Italian food. The French onion soup is excellent and so is the Italian salad. Their lasagna is also delicious and mildly spicy. Great red sauce. They keep the lights very low so it is a little bit dark. We enjoyed our meal and being able to talk with each other without a... More

My husband brought me here after I came home from living in Europe for two years. I loved it! It was a perfect little piece of Europe tucked away in Baton Rouge! The food was great and the service was very friendly!
