We ordered the grilled salmon and ordered it cooked medium well. It was perfectly cooked and delicious! I ordered it with steamed vegetables and I had the waitress hold the steamed cauliflower and she brought me an extra bowl of steamed broccoli with my carrots....More

Once a large drugstore, The Chimes Restaurant is across the street from the University. Sports bar setting but plenty of seating - except on game day. Food and service was very good. Server was prompt and friendly despite a large lunch crowd. The Spinach salad...More

Waitress was slow and scantily dressed....body parts were showing out of her pants. Food was somewhat cold when it arrived. Chips that came with artichoke dip were too spicy for us. Chicken sandwich and fries were good. They would have been better if they were...More

We went on a LSU game day so of course we had to wait for a table for 12. But the bar had outstanding drink specials and the food was incredible... if you like spicy food! We have also been to the other Chimes in...More

Right next to LSU, so a college atmosphere. Metered parking outside. Food was tasty and good value - recommend the blackened chicken. Portions were huge, we could easily have shared a main course.

Great place for beer oysters and bar food. Try the smoked duck gumbo and a dozen on the half shell. Huge beer selection. Very laid back place.

Enjoyed eating here for lunch. The food was very good. Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because there aren’t that many options for lighter fare.
