We went here for dinner while passing through Baton Rouge. The place is big, lots of southern food and big beer selection. We had a decent enough meal, but my wife is vegetarian and didn't have a lot of choices on the menu, which is...More

I am learning this city and there's always a surprise. Been having dinner at a wonderful restaurant for several weeks and looked to find something different. It's only a quarter miles up Coursey from my previous joint and it's again a fantastic place to have...More

I previously reviewed this Chimes location with a lesser review because of issues with removing good items from the menu and with dissatisfaction for the service. Well, I was in town and decided to try it again after I stopped going to Chimes after 20+...More

While visiting friends in Baton Rouge they took us to The Chimes East, one of their favorite spots. This casual restaurant sports a fun, loud atmosphere. They have a great beer selection, though be prepared to look it up on your phone. It's all online....More

Great beer selection. Food good also. They are usually packed. Especially on the weekends. If you are in a hurry, call ahead. That way you know if there is a long wait.

Three couples were very pleased with the excellent service and great food. From appetizers to desert and adult beverages in between.

Food was very good. Was very loud and made it difficult to carry on a conversation. Service was somewhat slow, not very attentive. We got there before the rush so shouldn't have taken that long.
