We chose the light lunch option. We were travelling with a toddler. It didn't strike us as the obvious choice for children, but ours will eat grown-up food and a high-chair was provided (we decided to clean it a bit). The food was delicious and the staff were friendly.

Eight walkers enjoyed a good lunch with a wide choice of food from Greens sausages at £8, kidney risotto, scallops and black pudding, so interesting selection

Second visit this year as we had such a good meal in February. Yet again the food was faultless, good range on the menu and very tasty. However the staff were a let down. There were two waitress working, one who was not friendly but also not rude took our order and removed the wine glasses as they were not... More

It is always pleasing to learn of customers returning and for their reasons for doing so however, you will appreciate it is very disappointing to learn of your most recent experience with regard to the level of service provided. We pride ourselves in maintaining not just the quality of our food but also the overall experience of client visits. Personally,... More

Had an enjoyable lunch at the Ferryboat today with the family. Would highly recommend. We ate in the bar area and they had allowed the well behaved family pet Maltese terrier to join us which was very kind of them. The food was excellent.Cannot wait to return.

Excellent lunch, interesting menu, comfortable atmosphere, parking right outside. The waitress was friendly, gave us adequate time to chat before ordering, and didn't mind when we changed it. Drinks brought promptly and coffee offered after the pudding. We were given forks as well as spoons for the puddings, not something that always happens these days. Very enjoyable, will go again.

I haven't visited this pub for about 5 years so wasn't too sure what to expect. We hired the outside garden room for a birthday lunch party as we had small children with us and it meant they would not be any trouble to other customers using this pub. The room was a perfect size for 10 adults and 3... More

Visited with friends for the first time in 10 years and will most certainly be back. The bar and restaurant were busy but that did not effect either the speed or the quality of the service, both were excellent. All 3 courses were of a very high standard, the mains of burger, steak, pizza and beef were very enjoyable. They... More
