We enjoyed or breakfast at this classic old restaurant in downtown Paducah. With two hour free parking, we didn't feel rushed. Our waitress Marcy was prompt and pleasant. The biscuits (huge) and gravy were excellent, and their house potatoes with onions were great. We'll return if we are in the area again.

Me and my husband went for the first time today. Super friendly staff and I love the wall decorations. Well let's talk about the cheeseburger omelet I order. It was so good, it came with pickles and two sides. I got the daily side and it was a Cajun rice and biscuits and sausage grave. Those biscuits were huge and... More

We stopped in for a quick lunch before visiting the Quilt Museum. Shared a burger and fries, which were fine. A lot of locals seem to eat here, which is a recommendation in itself. The prices were reasonable.

I want to start out with YUM! I was driving around and came across the Gold Rush Cafe and decided to go in due to the specials board outside. I had the corn, potato, & ham chowder... DELICIOUS (I took 2 more to go for later on bc that's just how good it is)! I also had the bread pudding... More

The Gold Rush is really Paducah's only local spot for serious breakfast food. Excellent omelets, waffles, and scotch eggs.

We stopped in for a Sunday morning Breakfast. First good sign was seven police cars were outside and the officers were all inside having breakfast. The staff was very friendly. We had the meat lover omelet, the madame cristo, a fruit plate and the scotch egg plate (winner by far). Every thing was good and service was quick. The prices... More

I have eaten here on several occasions and have always received the slowest service. Not only is the service slow, but I typically receive something other than what I ordered.

We were traveling home from Tennessee and decided to stop in Paducah for lunch, checked out places to eat and decided on this one. Nice little diner on the corner in downtown Paducah. Our meals were good.. recommend the onion rings, they were awesome.

We found Gold Rush Cafe on Trip Advisor and was very pleased with our experience. We started with the hand battered onion rings with the house sauce...best onion rings I have ever had. For our lunch, I had the 6oz meat loaf and my fiancé had the BLT complete with fried green tomatoes...we were both very pleased with our choices!... More
