Dizzy Whizz is not much to look at, but the burgers and the breakfast are really good. Just good, regular food at a good price. Atmosphere is zero, but the staff are always nice. We always enjoy our meals there.

Who would have thought that a place named dizzy whizz would be awesome? It tasted like i just went to my best friends house for burgers. I can't get over how friendly everyone is in Louisville. Burgers were great thank you

My husband and I went for lunch during the week. Food was great. The seating is tight inside but it was comfy.

Was a few blocks away for a dance competition so we decided to stop to eat. The prices were very reasonable for the food. The burgers are thin but excellent and come with all the fixings. The shakes are thick and taste excellent. We skipped the fries. You can pull your car up and the tray is put right on... More

This is one of those hole in the wall but its an institution type places. We all ordered breakfast. Typical eggs, hash browns, toast, sausage or bacon. Everything was cooked as requested. Everything tasted great. Its Diner food. Its not 5 start food. Its a classic little place. The staff is friendly. They were out of Hot Chocolate and don't... More

Step back in time to the 1950s. This place has a set down soda fountain style area. And the burgers are OK, if you like that sort of burger. The fries are good and I rate the food oK at best.

This is your quintessential dive burger joint! If you want a great burger, for a cheap price then this is the place to come. The burger resembles a Big Mac but with white secret sauce. Served with crinkle cut fries. I have been told they also have great shakes but I didn't order one. (Had to save something for the... More

Well, today I was driving back from central Indiana. I was in the mood for a good hamburger. Tired of the same old fast food places--McD's, Wendy's, BK, etc....I was looking for something more homey. More mom and pop type restaurant. I had been wanting to try the Dizzy Whiz for quite some time; I see it when I am... More

I stopped for lunch here with a friend a few weeks ago. I had heard about this Louisville tradition for many years but had never been. You order at the counter and wait until your order is ready. It did seem to take a while to get our food considering there was only a few people ahead of us. I... More

This was recommended to us by a very loyal Louisville Cardinal alum. I must say it was worth a visit. We had a Wizz burger, fries and drink. This was a real bargain and the food did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful when making our choices. It was a pleasant step back in time for this Jayhawk!
