We really enjoyed the flavors of the food and it arrived quicker than anticipated to our hotel. My only complaint is in the price for what we ordered. I assumed we would've received more, but what we did get was great! My husband had the goat vindaloo and I enjoyed chicken korma.
We bought a groupon and tried this restaurant. I am on a mission to find the best Indian restaurant in Louisville. So far, Bombay Grill wins hands down. Atmosphere clean and nice. Service was slow and sluggish from the start on a Sunday evening in an uncrowded restaurant. Four wait staff were more interested in conversing with one another than... More
Ha become my go to place when visiting Louisville. The buffet is plentiful and the food is very flavorful. The spices are spot on. The wait staff is quietly efficient. You want go wrong here.

I have been to many Indian restaurants in Louisville and this is one of the BEST. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is excellent. My wife and I had a coupon to try out this establishment and we were quite pleased. We ordered vegetable samosa for appetizer which was very good. My wife had chicken tikka and I... More
Had the buffet lunch at this restaurant along with family and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a good mix of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes and good naan as well. The raita was good also as were the desserts. Would definitely recommend this place as worth the visit.
Went for the lunch buffet and it was everything I wanted. The food was so good - curry goat was cooked to perfection. A lot to choose from for any diet and it was well heated (I'm always concerned that buffet food will be not be hot). The atmosphere was spacious but cozy, the service was good and the price... More
I enjoyed the meal at this restaurant. I din't know what to expect. I did order a drink before dinner, the Madras with vodka. I am not sure it had any vodka in it. We all ordered different lamb dishes. I had mine mild and it was still hot but good. My son had a dish with coconut cream and... More
I was in Louisville for the AP grading and went to Shalimar with my roommate and old friend. He had not had much Indian Cuisine and I wanted something full of flavor. We made a great choice. The restaurant was very pleasant inside with excellent service. It was attractive but casual. We had the vegetable samosas for an appetizer and... More
