Truly excellent German food. I've lived in Germany, on and off, for 13 years. This restaurant is great. The rahm schnitzle with spatzle is awesome. Staff attention was perfect. I arrived on a Tuesday night, so I can't advise on other evenings, but it is...More
Warm bread served with buttery cream cheese spread was memorable. Enjoyed the roumelade with side dish of spatzel and sauerkraut. Birthday dessert of Black Forrest cake.
Make a reservation. We dined here on a Tuesday night and almost could not get a seat. Parking is not a problem as the restaurant is in a strep mall. This is a family run place and it shows. There is a little bit extra...More

Expertly prepared food served piping hot. Our group ordered Weiner Schnitzel, Bratwurst, Stroganoff, Spatzele with veggies, and all was wonderful! Red cabbage was nicely seasoned, bread fresh. Highly recommend this family owned treasure. Only open 6 to 9:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. MAKE a reservation

Always one of my favorite places to eat in Louisville. Wienerschnitzel with spatzle and red cabbage is comfort food at it's best. And all of the homemade desserts and pastries are fantastic. We went with a party of six and not the smallest complaint out...More
