Amazing appetizers! Love the pizza: thin crust and baked to perfection! Prices, including alcohol, are great for what you get. One of the east parts was that everything was served hot! Hate cold food! Service was also good!

Went on a Saturday around 3pm. There was only 1 couple sitting inside, with a group of 5 outside. The only person we noticed working was the bartender and I'm not sure what she was doing, but it took some time to even be acknowledged. We eventually received some menus and ordered some drinks, but it took some more time... More

Just had a fantastic meal at the opening of the New Middletown location of Coals Artisan Pizza. I found the facility and staff to be both extremely warm, comfortable & the Pizza was amazing! I will definitely be back again & again...

It started out fine. It was a busy place with a twenty to twenty five minute wait that only took fifteen minutes as we sat with a drink at the bar. Once at the table we were given menus and ordered five minutes later. It was downhill from that point on. It took a long time for the salad to... More

Jgbtravels:I am sorry your experience at Coals was not a positive one. I have printed the review to show our staff. In all fairness I print the positive ones as well. We are in the middle of training a whole new staff, from FOH to BOH, for our second restaurant scheduled to open next week in Middletown. Apparently we were... More

Went via a Trip advisor recommendation. Very impressed. Crust was light, flaky, and crispy! Sauce was a stroke of genius. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

This pizza is good it’s worth a special trip for you because you will say I’m glad we tried this! It’s always crowded so go during the off times the crust is the best I have tasted for sure! It’s even better the next day cold.

This is a small but very well appointed place in the st Mathews area in the middle of a shopping complex. Service with a smile. And the hand made thin crust pizzas were without a doubt, authentic from the great country of Italy itself. And they had a great selection of microbrews. Great choice!

Tucked away in a small and trendy retail space in the suburbs of Louisville you will find Coals Artisan Pizza. I've had pizza all over the world--from Baby Lobster Pizza in ShenZhen, China to the "real deal" in Italy--I've got to s, hands down, some of the best pizza I've every had. The crust was perfect--not too doughy and not... More

Our hotel staff recommended this place and it was great. Good pizza. Good choices for craft beer. Friendly staff. Highly recommend. And there is a delicious ice cream parlor next door.

Though I don't come here often, when I do its always a great experience. My favorite pizza so far has been the Bardstown white pizza. It's not greasy and it packs a lot of flavor. For me the pizzas here are big so I usually split one with a friend and we always have some left over to take home.... More
