Finding a parking spot on the street was difficult. It was listed as vegan is the reason I sought out place. Cute but very small place where you order at the cash register. I was disappointed I had to eat black beans and rice, again,...More

Probably the worst Cajun food I have ever offered up to my lips. Lots of rice, lots of roux, unidentifiable other stuff within it. I cook Cajun, and I have been to New Orleans. This is a poor excuse of an attempt to even try...More

Really just a dive, with plastic utensils and a noisy campus vibe, BUT the food is good and a good value for your dining dollar and, depending on what you order, hot, hot, hot. Take-out available, too. Quick turnaround on orders. Very congenial staff.

I always bring out of town guests to B&T. Food is always fresh and delicious and it's ridiculously cheap. I'm always full after a half plate of food and it's about $5! They have great vegetarian options as well. My favorites are their jambalaya and...More

The food was good and reasonably priced. Parking is street parking, unsure if there's a parking garage in the area. The place is small so it's not for a large group looking for a sit down meal.

I would not consider the food true Cajun cuisine. Having traveled to NOLA several times and eaten the local version, I have to say this food is far from the mark. We ordered a number of dishes including shrimp, crawfish etoufee, gumbo, and a variety...More

Nestled in the Chevy Chase neighborhood of Lexington Ky these young men have brought Cajun to Lexington. All food is wonderful and so fairly priced, you almost feel like you didn't pay enough after you eat it.

Our son goes to University of Kentucky. We have eaten at many places while we visit him and he was the one who found this gem! Some great Cajun food with well chosen spices. Inside feels a lot like the little places we visit in...More

Hi Melissa. Sorry I'm just seeing this. The other responders are correct, we don't serve bourbon. Our name comes from the intersection of Bourbon and Toulouse Streets in the French Quarter of New Orleans. We did recently... More

As Dj C said, it's very casual. You order at the counter, they call out your name and you go and pick up your food. Everything is made from scratch in house except for the bread. That is baked daily downtown at Sunrise... More

Yes, they have a decent selection of bottled beers, and the owners also have the bar next door (Checy Chase Inn). I believe you can take your food next door, and have a drink there with your meal if you want something beside... More

Description
In July 2004 Will Pieratt and Kevin Heathcoat took a the huge leap of faith and opened Bourbon n' Toulouse by maxing out seven credit cards and simply hoping things worked out for the best. The business plan was simple: cook some damn good food, give back to the community that help keep their lights on and have as much fun as the law allows! Ten years later these guys are still extremely passionate about what they do and they haven't grown up a bit, just ask their wives! Always cooking and laughing, these guys are serious about having fun. Stop in and sample the wide array of tasty Cajun and Creole dishes, grab a beer from the ever changing selection and drift away to their own little version of The French Quarter.

Not bad for a washed up musician and a retired elementary teacher!
