Four of us went here for dinner and no one enjoyed our meals. We began with a charcuterie board for the table. The server was not able to name or describe any of the three cheese selections on the board. One of the guests ordered the gazpacho soup that was too salty to even eat. We were expecting an average... More

This restaurant was recommended by some very good friends who have the same ideas as we do, as to what makes a restaurant great. When you walk in, the place is very nice. After that, it went downhill. The waitress asked if we wanted to order drinks. We did, and my friend ordered a glass of the house Pino Grigio.... More

Today we had the pool company send a guy to vacuum the pool here where we were staying while in St. Thomas. He suggested we try the food at Old Stone Farmhouse for dinner. What a grand experience! We just returned home from eating there and it was amazing. I had the pork chop, my husband had the sea bass,... More

We had dinner here one night and the service was good and so was the food. Ambiance is very nice. We decided to try them for brunch one Sunday and when we arrived the security guard said the kitchen staff did not show up, so no brunch today. From some of the other reviews you can see how inconsistent this... More

We went here for a special night as we were two couples celebrating 25 years of marriage and a birthday. The night was perfect! Tony, our server, was attentive and handled the gluten free needs of one in our party and served us like we were family. Joe the cook was superb and every meal was one to remember. Every... More

I have never written a bad review until now. This experience was so bad that I want to save someone from wasting their money and time. I've been dining here for 15 years and have always considered it one of the top spots to bring family and friends. The staff was always incredibly professional and the food was exotic and beyond... And worst wine pairing too. First we waited 2-3 min. for the knife to our first course which was served before the wine. After we got it and started eating, I was almost done with mine before I could get a waiter over and ask where it went. (So that could have been good, I don't know) and we was... More

We were a group of 5 couples and were basically alone in the restaurant. We were well greeted, well treated and well served. Nothing over the top, in any area, but nothing really to complain about. The ambiance made the experience more pleasurable and the food was nicely done and well presented. Our waitress was very new and not well... More

We had our farewell to St. Thomas dinner at the Farmhouse and we are glad we did. The setting is reminiscent of Williamsburg Va. - or at least that's what we thought. No, the wait staff was not in colonel garb but there was lots of ambiance. We like ambiance. The food and service were excellent. I had the pork... More

Description
The Old Stone Farmhouse is an award winning, fine dining restaurant. Set in a wooded valley close to the 11th hole of the Mahogany Run Golf Course, this restaurant is located in a 200 year old restored field house on the lush countryside of St. Thomas. It was created as a stable for a nearby Danish sugar plantation, and the walls are more than 2 feet thick. Ceiling fans and breezes blowing through the valley keep the place cool. The building's distinctive character is shown with native stone walls, original hardwood floors, brick arches, and a charming covered palm-lined courtyard. The restaurant features "Chef Inspired" fine dining in an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The cuisine is ingredient driven and will change with each season. The Old Stone Farmhouse is one of the most romantic and elegant dinner settings anywhere, offering old-world charm and a second-to-none dining experience. Personalized attention makes dining here a delight.
