We found this cafe when we were camping nearby. Very friendly owners. Everything is home baked. We had the egg sandwich on their sourdough bread. It had an ingredient that my husband is allergic to and they remade the sandwich without any fuss. They have baked goods to go which all looked delicious.

We happened upon this place and stopped for snacks. Ended up with 6 muffins, all different. So many varieties, and I wanted to try everything but just could not do it. It is a small mom-and-pop place so their hours may vary but definitely stop here if you pass by! Two other couples were there eating breakfast casserole, and they... More

Friendly local owned bakery and lunch place with some of the best muffins we have ever had. No way to try them all, but the key lime were better than we had in the Florida Keys. Hours are limited, so check before you go.

This place is awesome. We stopped on Saturday morning and picked up muffins (chocolate & lemon) and fried pies. Had them as snacks at the lodge. Returned the next day for Egg sandwiches for breakfast. Noticed others picking up bread orders. Really enjoyed our morning breakfast. Friendly owners. Not sure if its seasonal but they are open Thursday - Sunday.... More

This was our first time here, and we liked lunch and the owners of this little cafe so much, we came back for breakfast the next day! Everything was fresh and tasty, and the owners make you feel at home. We'll keep coming back!

This is a true bakery. Way to often we are forced to eat what is supposed to be bakery items. This is a small bakery that has that homemade feel and tastes. Irene makes all the items in house, starting at 3am. Muffins are her recipe, lite and fluffy with a wonderful texture. Take some time and enjoy.

We stopped just to get some sweets but they also serve breakfast and lunch. It smells delicious when you walk in and the sweets we bought were pretty good. Can't say what their breakfast or lunch is like but I would bet it's good too.

We were here for breakfast at about 9:00. I could not believe the variety of muffins. I think the owner said she made 19 that morning. There were also several menu items I would have loved to have tried. I had the breakfast casserole and it was delicious. It is an fluffy egg base with cheese and ham. Served warm.... More

Visited twice recently. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Homemade soups, stews, bread, muffins, etc. The bison burger is served on a homemade roll and is just an awesome treat. Every time we visit we also get some of Irene's muffins or other baked treats. This is a little gem you won't want to miss.

Fresh Foods; Breakfast & Lunch. Open from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Wednesday thru Sunday. They have THE BEST home made LOW FAT muffins I've ever tasted. You can order their muffins to be shipped anywhere as well. Delightful and moist...you cannot tell they are low fat at all. I've also had their Chicken Quesadila's; Wick (Roast Beef & Cheese on a home made roll); Foccacia; and everything they serve is very good. Fresh baked each day. I highly recommend this little bakery. Outside dining with a few tables indoors as well. They take all major credit cards. Located 3 miles from the north entrance to Land Between the Lakes National Recreation area. You can also buy a picnic basket lunch! I love it!
