How many ways can one put sad, red marinara sauce on various pastas? One can explore this possibility at Freddie's. You will go to Freddie's because of its out of the way location and for the sparse number of guests dining therein. You will not return for the quality of food as there are far better options in Danville.

Freddie's Restaurant is a delightful place to try Italian food. It has a quaint setting, a down home feel, good service and good food. If you prefer, call in an order and it will be ready when you arrive. The house dressing for your salad suits my taste buds perfectly.

If you are going to call yourself REAL Italian Restuarant then that is what you should be! I've been a Danville resident all life & been going to Frddie's for years. Yes it used to be REAL Italian but what a horrible change! Ate spaghetti w/meat sauce tonight. First off the service stunk! The food appearance was not appealing. The... More

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We went at an off time, in fact we were the only ones in there. The food was fresh and our entree's were hot and just prepared, the staff was friendly and could not do enough. Glad we found this restaurant we are in Danville often.

Freddie's has been around a long time and is one of the best, most authentic Italian restaurants you'll find!

I was in town for the Great American Brass Band Festival. On my second day there, a little before 1:00 pm, I got in line to get some food from one of the vendors at the festival - I wanted one of those Italian sausage with green peppers and onion sandwiches. But the line was long and not moving very... More

My wife and I go to Freddie's a lot. First things first; It is not Mexican cuisine, which is what it shows to be here on Trip Advisor. Also, it is not in the location shown on the map. It was on 3rd or 4th street for many years but moved a few years ago to Old Stanford Rd, near... More

I took my daughter to Freddie's on her 18th birthday. it was recommended by someone as a good special occassion kind of place. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and the white tablecloths were a nice touch. In reference to the food, all... More

Where to start, the people that waited on us were very nice and accomodating, this was the highlight of our meal. The food lacked any Italian flavor, I couldn't eat it. On any given day I could make a better sandwich without trying. The only reason it's the best Italian resturant in Danville, KY is that it is the only... More
