First visit to Cracker Barrel since COVID-19. Had to wait 15 minutes before being seated. Took over 30 minutes to get food from the time we ordered. Food was cold and hard. Not sure we’ll ever go back.
This is part of a well-known chain. Food quality and cleanliness is pretty well standard. The thing that sits this Cracker Barrel apart from the others is the people who work there.
They have some of the friendliest and helpful waitstaff of any Cracker Barrels...I have been to. Good food with great service at this Cracker Barrel.More
Havent eaten here in 10 years but decided to get to go plate, remembered thier hashbrown casserole was the best .so i got chicken fried steak, when got to hotel and opened it all up i couldnt believe it, the gravy DID NOT even cover the...chicken fried steak!! Much less run over the side...and the hashbrown casserole, if u could call it that, was nothing but BLAND, NO TASTE at all. Oh, and cornbread, i ate 2 bites and threw it out....i just wonder do these people need someone to come in there and do the cooking ? Or Show them how to?? I just cant believe how its went down since i ate there last...about like other places and hotels though i guess.More
Ordered the chicken dinner, the one they keep advertising.I would not order it again, a waste of money. The coating was to hard. There was no flavor to the chicken except grease, I fact I got sick when I goy home and I only ate...two pieces.More
We stopped in for breakfast. We like Cracker Barrel because you know that you are going to get good food for a fair price. They have a nice homey atmosphere. The Danville, Kentucky Cracker Barrel is one of the best ones around. We've traveled all...over and they are #1 in our book.More
Dinner was good I had grilled chicken tenderloins, baby carrots and a baked sweet potato( will say they skimped in the brown sugar for the potato), and sweet tea (guess they were running low on that too, never got a refill at all-not even asked)....My husband got country fried chicken with gravy, green beans, hash brown casserole, fried apples, and Diet Coke (evidently they were running low on that too my husband never got a refill either). The meal would have been a lot better we had something to drink with the meal. We got our drinks way before our food so they were half gone when we got the food. So if you choose to eat hear please ask for water as well as your drink, so you won’t choke.More
