Very nice atmosphere, casual in the bar or a little fancier in the dining room. We had been hiking all afternoon and although I had reservations about going into what looks like a fancy place from the outside, we all felt very comfortable sitting in the bar area. The menu offers items ranging from inexpensive to very expensive but I... More

We were looking for a restaurant where we could meet up with some friends we hadn't seen in years and wouldn't feel rushed. The Tousey House Tavern was the perfect choice. The couple who arrived first were welcomed into the bar and made comfortable to wait for the others. When everyone arrived, we were shown into the dining room. This... More

Had been to Tousey house during the winter early in the year (first visit). Thought the food was average but the setting was quaint and thought it would be a good place to bring family visiting from out of town. Indeed, took visiting family about a week ago on a Sunday. The experience was "sad". The food from the appetizers... More

This restaurant is beautiful and historic. The food is great and the service is always consistent. I had the spinach salad with blackened salmon and it was delicious! My husband had the caesar salad with blackened chicken and it was also really good. I would highly recommend this place, it's always really convenient to visit every time with stay at... More

Great food and service in a beautiful old historic home. They also have a nice patio for outdoor dinning.

A charming restaurant in a beautifully restored historic home. The atmosphere is upscale and artful, but casual and comfortable at the same time. The patio is shady, quiet and even dog friendly....it was delightful. I had the house pasta, which was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meals...the cod, hamburger and several other dishes. On another visit we all had the walleye... More

We love this local tavern located in an old home of yesteryear. Some comfort food, some upscale items, nice patio and cute rooms.

On a friend's recommendation we went to the Tousey House Tavern for dinner. What a wonderful surprise! Once inside your imagination takes you back to the 18th. Century. Yes the place seems that old. We went upstairs to a window front table overlooking the street below. Service was prompt and the wine list and bourbon selection were far above average.... More

Went to the TH for dinner with my wife, our son and his girlfriend. Overall, it was a good experience. We sat outside on the patio, which was quite nice. The service was spot-on, and the food was pretty good. My wife had the pasta w/chicken, my son had the skirt steak, our son's girlfriend had the mac and cheese... More
