We hit the Kurtz Restaurant while visiting local distilleries. What a find! Highly recommend the butter bean soup! And warm chocolate meringue pie! Thanks to Trip Advisor for finding this place for us.

This restaurant has great food! Fantastic home style southern favorites & the homemade pies & desserts were delicious. They also make a great mint julep. Must stop here if in Bardstown, KY

Reservations not required, but it never hurts to call. I don't remember the hours but do remember that they are (or were) closed on Sundays and Mondays, and also from Jan 1 to Mar 1 for the cold season.
