Lowlights: Bland tomatoey salsa, a carnitas burrito that looked gigantic but was mostly stuffed with white rice, and A/C that felt like it was cranked down to 65F. The menu features pseudo-Mexican food items like a Kentucky burrito with some sort of bourbon chicken. There's...better Mexican/Tex-Mex food to be found in Bardstown.More

The menu is almost overwhelming so I took the suggestion of our waitress and had the combination fajitas. They were very good (if a tad salty) and much more than I could eat. Shrimp is usually over-cooked but these were plump and juicy as well...as plentiful as was the beef and chicken. Typical sides of rice & beans but there were very good. Service was prompt and attentive. Granted the place is in bourbon country but one does not expect such an array of seriously up-scale bourbons at a Mexican restaurant. If the food was not as good as it is it would be worth it just to visit the bar to take advantage of the bourbon selection.More

Your 1st choice for Bardstown Mexican. Great portions, authentic spices, very diverse menu (almost too much), well lit environment, large parties served at speed expected. Good location and prices are competitive. Enjoy

We had a group of 8 arrive at 5pm on a Sunday. Not a busy time for them. Seated immediately. Beverages arrived and 6/8:were correct. Food orders were placed. Glasses of water, tea and diet coke all ran dry and needed a second prompting for...refills. Food arrived very staggered. 3 meals ar first, 10 minutes later 2 more, 5 more minutes 2 more and finally our last meal arrived nearly 25 minutes after the first plates arrived. Food tasted great. Spiced well and good portions. I have to mention the women's restroom. There is a stall that you have to step over the toilet before you can shut the door. Pretty ingenious dyi project. Overall, liked the food, but service seemed bothered and disinterested.More

After an afternoon of bourbon tasting we stopped here for a bite to eat. I’m vegan and had a bean burrito with a side of rice and guacamole. My friends had fajitas, Gordita, molcajete, herradura. Everything was delicious. They quickly changed an order to remove...cheese from a dish. The service was quick and friendly.More

This place was very good. Really nice on the inside. At 4pm on Saturday not busy, no wait. I ordered the steak fajita quesadilla and rice. My husband had the chimichangas mexicanas (comes with 4 smaller chimis). Our bill was only $20. Everything was well...seasoned and came out quickly. The only bad thing was they just gave us one small salsa container to share. Most places allow for each person to have their own bowl. We will definitely be back.More

Love their Rancheros Enchilada dinner. Been here several times, service is always excellent, even if they are very busy. Just wish their Strawberry Margarita was a little better. Atmosphere is nice too, very big booths. All in all, a great place to eat good Mexican...food.More

Hubby liked Taco Bell but not other Mexican Restaurants. Go Figure 🤣 In Bardstown on Memorial Day and the regular haunts were closed I love a good Margarita, salsa and chips . Restaurant was decorated nicely was carved table and chairs of horses I ordered...Carne Asada Tacos. Hubby ordered a steak. My tacos were very good. Steak very tender. Pico topping was fresh Hubby baked potato was undercooked and steak over cooked. Did I say hubby doesn’t like Mexican restaurant I think this is a great place to eat and would recommend to others who like Tex-MexMore

The thing that was the most outstanding...was you never had to look for someone to ask questions or get refill of drinks. Food was great, I had steak fajita. Drink selection was unbelievable, they had more Bourbon selections than any other Mexican restuarant I've ever...been in anywhere!More
