Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We enjoyed having a late breakfast here and you must try the azteca soup. Very good value and the view is amazing!

We both had Casado plates that were delicious. It's a great place to stop for a meal between San Isidro and Dominical.

The food was delicious. I had the fish casado and my wife had the rice with shrimp. Great service from Ivan. Ice cold beer!

My wife and I ate dinner here - the view was amazing! The sun was setting, the sky-palette was inspiring! But the food was so/so, didn't feel the love. And the service was about the same too, must've been an off night because we'd heard...such good things from friends. Oh well...More

We came here a few times during a trip in 2015 and enjoyed each meal; this year we drove from Jaco for 2.5 hours for a return visit here. The view is so beautiful, totally awesome with lovely cool breezes due to the elevation. Had...my favorite - seafood soup which was as delicious as I remembered, I also got soup-to-go and thoroughly enjoyed the following day. The service was friendly, menu selection is good, prices are very reasonable. So worth the extra time to drive to enjoy the views and lunch once again.More

It is about time that Trip Advisor allowed people to review this establishment! I have tried to give it five stars before in the past two or three years, but Trip Advisor kept saying it did not exist due to lack of a normal street...address. Well, welcome to Costa Rica, where nowhere has a normal address due to no functioning postal system, street names, and street numbers...you are lucky to even find the rare road sign anywhere in the campo. By all means a five star, always great food and spectacular mirador views unless you are enclosed by clouds at this elevation, which happens often.More

Upon exploring the road from Dominical to San Isidro we stumbled across this bar and restaurant. It was very reasonably priced with good food and a spectacular view!! We tried the Pescado Casado and a seafood rice dish. The Garlic Pescado Casado was delicious. Make...sure to visit when the sky is clear. The clouds can roll in quickly and obstruct the spectacular view.More

We were driving from Manuel Antonio area to San Jose and stopped here after reading many of the other reviews on TripAdvisor. It was an excellent choice!! Had the beef and chicken casados with plenty of tasty sides and all for C2500. I would recommend...stopping here on your way north. Easy pull off from the highway with ample parking and fantastic views of the valley.More

We stopped at this restaurant to grab a beer and to check out the fruit stand next door. It ended up being a great, unexpected experience. The food was great and the view was unforgettable. The beer (and food) was inexpensive and the service was...friendly. Highly recommend making the "pit stop" if passing by!More

The casados are excellent and a great value (2800 colones). Same with fish fingers or shrimp cocktail. The staff are wonderful, hardworking and aim to please. Don't forget to ask for a "promocion", 6 beers in a bucket of ice, 5000 colones. Great place to...get together with friends.More

We stopped at Los Chorros in Tinamaste on the way back from the market in San Isidro as the view looked awesome over the valley and it totally is!!! Even though we just wanted a refreshment, I decided to try the seafood soup - it...was the absolute best. Luckily my husband drove back from Dominical two more times just to I could have their soup. He enjoyed a few other dishes from their menu as well. It was the best view, the best prices and best food we had during our 5 weeks in Dominical. There is also a little fruit/veggie stand next door to the restaurant that had quality products.More
