This is a really interesting little pub! Our vintage truck club arrived unannounced on the June long weekend 2016, (other plans had fallen through so it was decided to go for a drive) and we were greeted by the friendly owners who made cups of tea (it was mid morning!) We all wandered around enjoying the character of the place... More

... in the middle of no-where! Unless you live in one of the few houses in the thriving metropolis of this town! But step across the thresh-hold of the Hotel and you not only step into a warm, inviting place but also into the pages of history. It might be a small pub in the scrub but it has loads... More

Stayed at Morgan for the Easter weekend, and wanted a pub where we could have a nice meal and watch the football without all the crowds. Quick google search found this great hotel 20km out of town. Publicans Peter and. Tracey where great. Booked a table and great response to emails etc. Meals were fantastic the pub itself is full... More

Not a town many travellers stop at, but that is their loss. In the heart of bluebush country, about 140km north-east of Adelaide, not far out of Morgan and the Riverland, this is a pub with a long and interesting history. Peter and Tracey will make you very welcome, and the food is wonderful. The Lamb Rack is juicy and... More

When I thought all was lost with regards to the Aussie outback pub, all being taken over by rich city folk as a hobbie and not much more than an interest in drinking and tekking their yuppy friends " we own a pub" along comes the Mount Mary Hotel. Set inbetween Morgan and Eudunda with its cluster of homes scattered... More

We have been several times and will continue going back. Wee had my birthday lunch with 20 friends. They Carreras a BBQ lunch with plenty of salads and meat plus there were three of us with food issues and there was no trouble on catering for our needs. It has a great atmosphere of days gone by in the aussie... More

The beer is cold, the publican chatty and friendly. Accommodation is cheap. It's a couple of hours from Adelaide - it looks like there is nothing there but like a lot of places scratch under the surface and there is a lot going on -

We arrived 5 minutes late for our booking and were told he had turned down 2 bookings that day, surely thats why you book a table so that a table is available? We felt we were treated badly in front of other patrons by the proprietor and considering the hotel had received a favourable review on a television show called... More
