We each had a different specialty sandwich with a soup. One of us ordered a Bai to drink and the other 2 had water. Total was 38 dollars. A little more than I wanted to spend but it was all delicious.

A great place to eat for something different. A good selection of soups and sandwiches. The restaurant fills up quickly during the lunch hour so arrive early. Sometimes they run out of the soups. Also because it is usually crowded it would not be the place to linger after you eat. The menu offers vegan and gluten-free items. I love... More

Wichita's greatest soup (and sandwich) restaurant. Usually crowded at high-noon with the downtown lunch crowd, so arrive around 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. for easier seating.

I heard some good things about this place, and I was glad to have tried it. Veggie soup and Deliliah's light lunch were truly delightful. The soup was a bit salty side but not much. It had a variety of veggies with rather big chunks of potatoes, which I really enjoyed! My colleague and I shared their famous bread pudding.... More

This is a wonderful, warm, and healthy place for lunch or dinner. My boyfriend, like many others in town, numbered Tanya among his friends. I wasn't fortunate enough to meet or know her, but her legacy of an inviting and delicious soup restaurant is an amazing tribute to her life.

My gluten-free half sandwich turned out to be a whole sandwich! I guess if I ordered a whole sandwich I'd get two. GF bread slices are small. Thank you for your generosity. Next time I'll pay the little bit extra and take one sandwich home. My sandwich was called "Cindy the Boy": ham and Swiss and apple chutney. Yummy! The... More

Love bringing my friends to Tanya's. Basically, you get a flavorful soup, sandwich, salad or any combo thereof. But what's fun is the style of the food, staff and little yuppie eaters. I savor the bites AND the atmosphere. If you want to eat on the porch, you can. We see lots of peeps getting TO GO! That tells you... More

Tanya Tandoc a Wichita original re-opened this place before her untimely death. Since then new owners, friends of Tanya, have kept the original recipes and the fun, funky atmosphere alive in memory. The soups and sandwiches served here are all fabulous and are anything but ordinary. Come in to the restaurant with an open mind and palate and you will... More

This is one of Wichita's great local restaurants. Delightfully creative sandwiches; tasty and creative soups; and excellent sweets too. This is one of the most fun lunch stops in town and a great value too!

Great soups....try something that you would never try, they have some crazy different kinds. The Milano(roast beef) is positively delicious, the bread pudding out of this world.
