It was close to the hotel the food was good waitresses were very attentive the food was well cooked and well served it was a little after their dinner rush so it was a quieter atmosphere even though we could talk if there had been a lot of people around

Stopped in as it was close to the hotel I was at. Fast friendly service and pretty reasonable comfort food. I had the meatloaf and it included salad bar / dessert and soup. Waitress was courteous and friendly.

On our way home on Sunday after 9pm we found the Iron Skillet. Great service. They offer a buffet and ordering meals. We had salad bar and soup. Fresh salad choices and hot fresh soup.

OK, it's kinda' a breakfast place near a truck stop, so maybe not haute cuisine, but give it a chance at Exit 252 and then north two blocks off I-70. You will find the booths and tables and chairs pleasantly clean and modern; you will find a cordial staff who knows the locals (we saw the same sheriff and associate... More

We had a discount from our hotel, food was average, service was good. There were ants on the table of the first booth we sat at, moved to another booth on the other side of room and had a very average meal.

Stopped for lunch while traveling. I ordered thr lemon pepper white fish with roasted vegetables and salad bar. The soup options were beef vegetable and chicken tortilla. The chicken tortilla was fantastic! My husband had the brisket tacos. He thoroughly enjoyed. My white fish was a disappointment. I thought it was undercooked because of the texture. The waitress was great... More

We were driving cross country and hit Salina about 3pm, hungry. Other than fast food the Iron Skillet was the only place for real food. The lunch buffett was still available, but looked like the same food had been available since yesterday. The service was friendly.

The restaurant was clean, not too busy. The service was above average. Our dinners were a BLT with onion straws(an upgrade) and pork chops (a hometown favorite). The sandwich was good and the pork chops average. It might be better to stick to sandwiches and burgers. Overall, it was not disappointing.

We stayed at the nearby KOA and were in the mood for a hearty breakfast before hitting to road towards Colorado. This is a fantastic diner. The wait staff was extraordinarily friendly, the food was awesome and the prices very reasonable. When the waitress learned that I had never had a biscuit in my life (I am European) she insisted...
