Another stop on my KC BBQ tour. Two locations to serve. I went to the one by the race track. Very clean and service was prompt and very friendly. I tried their burnt end sandwich. OMG! Tender and juicy. The sauce was also phenomenal but not needed. I understand this is a generational establishment and I can see why! Something... More

I love the Turkey sandwich. My wife ordered the burnt ends and she did not like it. It is a little pricey.

Whenever I visit or pass through the Kansas City area, I drop by the original Arthur Bryant's location. The incredibly well-seasoned pits and skilled, caring employees make for the best KC has to offer. Tender, smokey brisket, fall off the bone tender ribs, and sauce thrashes up and grabs your taste buds make for a tasty meal every time I... More

Most of my reviews are singular in that it is just my meal and my opinion. The joint was busy, maybe 25-30 people in front of us but the huge disappointment was in the food. Let me also point out that this was a repeat visit as I had enter there years ago and was satisfied. Cold fries! Pulled pork... More

I try not to use the term disappointed too often but I don't know what else to say. This was not our typical, great KC BBQ we get pretty much anywhere else around the city. I had the "pulled pork" that was already soaking in sauce already chosen for me. The meat didn't have much smoked flavor and was not... More

Very good BBQ with large portions at reasonable prices. French fries are unique and tasty. Line up through the two front doors was about 40 - 50 deep but only took us 10 minutes to order.

The nice thing about KCMO is all the different BBQ available. Arthur Bryant's has a more original and unique taste then anyone. Less sweet and more bold. Definitely a top 5 KC BBQ. Service is great and they can handle large groups easily.

Picked a place to have 7 of us meet for a family dinner. 5 open face Burnt ends ordered and they served it out of a chafing dish filled with bbq sauce, fairly fatty and touch, seems like they took a brisket and cubed it up, dropped in bbq sauce and called that burnt ends. One beef sandwich and fry's... More
