The food in this restaurant was not great, but not bad. Since Kansas is the biggest beef producer in the US, we decided to have steak. It was good, but not exceptional. We did, however, have an excellent waiter - - a young man, under 18, but we really enjoyed chatting with him.

Our experience was very good here - server was friendly, attentive, and offered good menu recommendations - ribeyes were great, desserts as well.

Read the reviews here, so decided to give it a try. The ambiance is great in every room. Saw the rail car, but didn't eat in it. Salads were mediocre. Rib eye steak was great. KC strip steak was tough, very disappointing as it was the special of the day. Service was so-so and felt like we were being rushed... More

We tried many of the dishes between the 5 of us. Ribs, fried mushrooms, pasta, soup, sandwich & more. We never got the salads that came with our meal but we were stuffed anyway!

Had a great steak dinner at Central Station! We ate in an "authentic type" saloon with bar and wooden tables. Fun dining atmosphere with great food!

We chose Central Station based on the trip advisor reviews. And, they didn't disappoint!!! We both ordered the shredded beef taco salads. Most shredded beef is dry, but not here!!! This was very tender & juicy! We chose to sit in the bar, but if you go here for a special occasion, they have an old train car you can... More

Nice meal - we had the filet and it was large and tasty. Good service. Prices in the mid-$20 for steak and sides. Try to sit in the rail car.

They offer quite a variety of food selections. The service was very good. The bartending was slightly below par; Corona-Rita was weak, pouring a bottle of beer into a frozen margarita resulted in a very watered-down margarita.

Interesting decor, sat in Victorian era train car. The pork ribs were very good, would recommend them. Also had the fillet, which was ok. Servers were nice, although sitting in the train car, it's difficult to get your servers attention unless one of them is servicing a table in the car. Beers were cold, make sure to ask for chilled... Casual dining with three separate venues. One area has a classic casual dining area, another section offers an open concept sports bar feel with a thirty foot full service bar and TV's. The third area offers a unique dining car that you can sit and enjoy a pleasant meal in tables available for four or two.
