We stop here anytime we pass en route between home and wherever. If it's lunch or dinner time we eat. The service is good, food fine, choice of ales limited. Nothing exceptional but perfectly satisfactory. It's the location we like, with the river and bridge close by. In summer, the riverside garden with mooring is lovely. Parking is good. I'd... More

Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere:10/10 A great Christmas Party Night, excellent value for money. Staff attentive and friendly, lovely carvery, never a long wait at the bar, overall the best night out at Christmas we have experienced. Thank you Holt Fleet.
Carvery beef extremely tough, 'coffee' didn't even smell like coffee. Big rush to finish courses. Overall pretty ordinary
Sorry you were disappointed. We know it is impossible to please everyone, and work on areas that we feel can be improved, however...... This was our final Christmas party of December so we have served in the region in of over 1000 carveries without one complaint, only compliments on this being the 'best carvery they have ever had'. In fact... More
We attended a dance club Christmas event and the location, parking, food and venue were really first class. We were all welcomed at the door by a very friendly member of staff. The Christmas meal I had was served with local fresh vegetables. The staff were attentive and very well trained, they served without fuss a crowd of at least... More
We were in a party of 100 or so for our annual Christmas lunch which we couldn't fault. Each of the three courses was nicely presented and well cooked with plenty of food and with efficient and friendly service. Unlike some places at this time of year, there was no attempt to cut corners with crackers, coffee and mince pies... More
We had called here on our way to the Cotswolds three years ago, and decided to stop for lunch. Pleased to say that it is still good, The conservatory is a lovely place to eat overlooking the river. The soup and sandwiches were excellent.

Hi Graham, I hope you don't mind me replying to you.
I see that you've had two different celebrations at the Holt Fleet, one being to celebrate an anniversary with about thirty guests. Was it the conservatory that you had to yourself for you and your party of guests? I'm looking to arrange a meal later this year for that amount of people and I am wondering how the table would be set out and if it's possible to have a room for one group.
