We had a lovely meal here, went for my mother in laws birthday with a group of 11 including 2 kids. there is a play area outside which is useful for the kids. it gets very busy on a sunday and you can see why as the food is top quality. there is a good selection of vegtables and you... More

Attended the Royal Oak for a family event . We had a really large booking and the staff coped admirably with the multitude of orders and requests . Some great beers on tap, decent lagers and a very good carvery. I know quantity does not always equal quality but I don't think I have left a pub more stuffed !... More

My first visit to the Royal Oak and I wasn't disappointed. Booked in for Sunday dinner at 12.15 .On arrival , it was already very busy, with a large queue for the "carvery". We decided to let the queue die down a bit, but not leaving it too long decided to join queue. Friendly staff(good looking bloke cutting meat!). Generous... More

Excellent pub & restaurant by the side of the A44, but elevated to give excellent views across the valley of the Teme. A la carte items are available plus an excellent carvery. Monday to Friday at lunch & dinner times, a wide choice of dishes is available at two courses for £11.95, or three for £13.95 (Nov 2016). You will... More

Visited with a friend for a lunchtime carvery. The bar service was quick and the staff gave us a good welcome. The relaxed atmosphere made it nice and pleasant for our chat. The carvery was good with well cooked beef. The menu also includes other choices to the carvery which I must try next time. One of the best carvery... More

Called in here on a Sunday evening , a very long wait to get a drink and to ask where our table was , bar staff ignored us and seemed to only serve people they knew . Not very welcoming Once seated we went and got our carvery which was very nice as always

This is the first time that my wife and I have been to this pub for Sunday lunch, I must say that we were delighted in what we saw. The staff were very polite and the service and food was great, we will certainly return for another fill up and well done to you all. May I just say, that... More

Three of us visited on a Wednesday evening and enjoyed a great carvery meal. We had generous portions of the tender meat and helped ourselves from the wonderful selection of vegetables. Unfortunately we were too full for a sweet, as they looked delicious. The service was much better than the last time we visited, so we would definitely return!

Me and my partner visit here a lot of the time and from experiencing many carveries this is by far the best on offer! Food is always warm and tastes amazing! A clean and friendly place to eat. Would highly recommend anybody to visit! Hats off to the chef!
