This candy store and ice cream parlor is on the national historic register. It has an old fashion lunch counter but no longer serves lunches. No candy is made here. The shop owner was friendly. Wilton is a sleepy town amid vast fields.

Wilton Candy Kitchen has had a few changes but the same old fashion charm. I take my grandchildren there and they love sitting at the counter on the stools to place their order. They serve old fashion fountain drinks, shakes, sundaes and great banana splits....More

Tried the go here in the middle of the day on a Saturday but they were closed. The sign on the door said they would reopen in the spring along with a sign to deliver packages to a nearby business.

I know it's a 100 year old man working there, but, seriously, waited 30 minutes for an ice cream. There were 4 people before us and we had to go. Another appointment. Disappointed.

A visit to the Wilton Candy Kitchen is a trip back in time! The ice cream is all homemade by the owner, and you will usually find both the owner and his wife at the Kitchen! He also makes some good homemade candy! The old-fashioned...More

A must see place if you're in the Wilton area. Memorabilia galore and most likely you'll have a chance to hear a story or two from George or Thelma themselves. Don't forget to get some homemade ice cream!

What a real treasure this place is!!! This quaint little shop is oodles better than any modern, trendy restaurant. The decor has hardly changed in its 100 years of operation and I am so glad. They even continue to use an old push button cash...More
