We went to Mi Patria to discover Ecuadorian food and were very pleased. The appetizers and entrees were plentiful and delicious. The service was outstanding. I highly recommend Mi Patria.

Got the big MiPatria for Two. Tasty rice and beans. Meats were decent. Nice to see some South American places in Iowa. Want to try some other menu items soon. Whenever I'm in Ecuador I'm always stunned by how good the set price meals are....More

I lived in Ecuador for a time 30 years ago, so I was excited to have some genuine arroz con menestra and paticones. I was a little nervous about the rest of my family, but they said that their meals were great and that they...More

Wonderful little Ecuadorian restaurant with excellent Corvina, Picadillo and Chaulafan. I'm not a fan of puffed white corn but the rest of the Picadillo de Hornado is to die for and others may like the corn. Healthy portion for an appetizer--made a meal for me,...More

Large portions are served at lunchtime! Service is quick and friendly, staff can answer any questions. Price is very good for amount of food given. Nice flavors without being spicy. Try the unique sodas, too.

Food was pretty decent, for not knowing their culture or use to Ecuadorian food. I need to eat more Ecuadorian food to understand good quality . Perhaps they deserved a higher rating

Great food, reasonable price, good service. We tried three kinds of meats and the side of Salvadorian beans. Really tasty, especially the pork!

That may be correct. I would not think an Ecuadorian restaurant would be required to serve only Ecuadorian originated dishes.

I wouldn't expect a problem, but it is a good idea, none the less, to have a table.
