If you are looking for a restaurant with authentic German food, don't bother stopping here. Their attempt at it is not even close. If you couple the poor food with the price, you will regret ever stopping here.

Went here for an anniversary dinner, wanted to try something new. Had the rouladen, which was over done and a little dry. Portions were tiny, mashed potatoes and gravy tasted like KFC... the waitress was awesome and knew the menu well and was attentive. However I probably will not visit again.

My boys got to feed and learn about the horses prior to having dinner. The menu had a good variety for everyone to chose something different. The waitress was friendly and sociable. The dining experience was unique and we will be going back again.

Went with my family based on suggestions from my husband's co-workers. It was amazing. My youngest son is a very picky eater and he loved it and wants to go back. He had the brats and mashed potatoes. My other son had chicken strips, mash and meatball soup. He loved them all. I had a steak with mashed potatoes. The... More

We ate at Hillside Stables with another couple last weekend. Husband had Prime Rib, it was one of the best he has had in a long time. Friends and I all had the Mega Surf & Turf. 10oz Boneless Ribeye and 3 VERY VERY Large Grilled Shrimp. The German Potato Salad and vegetable soup was very tasty. We will return!!!!!

Hillside Stables Restaurant was founded by Carol and Volker Nass in 2000. Purchased in 2012 by Angela Giannetti-Snyder, the restaurant serves authentic German specialties and American favorites in a casual, friendly, old-world atmosphere. Our menu offers a large selection of hand-cut, char-broiled steaks, fish and seafood - deep-fried or grilled with our own house marinade, a variety of "schnitzels", juicy marinated grill pork steaks, zesty German sausages, our signature chicken and duck, and much more
