Get the tenderloin!!!! Omelettes are good too and the tacos! Can take out or eat in....yes there is room and we'll worth the experience in downtown Mason City, just a couple blocks north from the mall.

Porkloin sandwich can't be beat. Great local treasure. I enjoyed them during a local festival. They were efficient and handled the crowd very well.

Homemade is what comes to mind when you visit this little diner. Tenderloin is a must sometime throughout your visit here. They are HUGE!!

Teeny tiny diner but we had no trouble getting a seat on a Tuesday morning. Food was fine but that's almost irrelevant here...it's about chatting with the friendly locals, hearing some town gossip and learning a magic trick from the very personable owner..who greats you with a hearty and heartfelt welcome when you walk in the door. If you want... More

Yuck! The food is greasy ... Dripping grease. Smells of grease as well. Outside tables and indoor bar stool seating is available.

I hadn't been in the Suzie-Q for 50 year. Couldn't believe it was still there. The tenderloins were just like I remembered them, and they're named after the old Spic & Span diner that is long gone. We will have to stop again when passing through.

A very small diner with 10 counter stools. We loved it! I had a bacon cheese burger w/ fries, my friend had the Phili Cheesesteak and onion rings. But....no restrooms, you have to cross the street to a cooperating church. And it was hot in the diner. The outside temp was in the high 80's that day. But, what a... More

Never been in a Valentine Diner before and apparently this is one of 20 left. The tenderloin sandwich was delicious and I guess is the 2nd best tenderloin in the United States. There are about 8-10 seats and it is small so expect to bump elbows and end up in conversations with the locals who are very friendly and very... More

Tried to visit the Suzi-Q-Cafe in March but unfortunately it wasn't open but we did get out and peer through the windows think yep what a shame it's closed. It looks like it would be a great experience for us Aussies although maybe a little crowded. We hop to return to Mason City in a couple of years so hopefully... More
