Casual place. Friendly staff. Had the bacon cheeseburger basket that came with fries & cottage cheese. The burger was cooked properly. The fries were thick, light on the inside and lightly crisp on the outside.

We stopped here for a quick lunch while passing through to Dubuque. The restaurant is fairly plain and not fancy at all. They had a normal American-Food menu (burgers, fried appetizers, hot sandwiches) and then they had, what they called, their version of homemade Mexican food. My husband and I both ordered an enchilada off of the Mexican menu. It... More

Not sure why they call themselves a Mexican restaurant. I had nachos and husband had an enchilada. I've had much better nachos at a little league game. My husband enchilada was deep fried and had no enchilada sauce. There were also a ton of flies and they only take cash or check, no cards.

This place was completely remodeled a year or two ago and is always nice a clean with a friendly staff. The taco or enchilada is always a good option, but don't order too much because the portions are huge!

First time we've been there since the remodel. Place looked clean. We couldn't figure out why it is just so noisy though. (Compared to other places of equal size, etc.) It was incredibly noisy. Our food was good, at a good price. Downside is, it took forever to arrive. We waited a long time, as did other guests. The service was... More

We stopped here late on a Tuesday night after a basketball game, even though they were closing the kitchen they still served us with a smile from the waitress to cook to Bartender. I seen in that someone reviewed they only had can pop (soda) I was offered both can or fountain. I have ate here before and it is... More

Bartenders and waitress very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Food was fresh and hot when served. Americanized Mexican and other fare offered.
