It is open for lunch as well as dinner, and it affords the opportunity to taste the lifestyle of a bygone era when the home belonged to a river pilot, During our... More

This restaurant is tucked away off the main street. We had a local coupon so we went for dinner. Best veggies as our side dishes, I had zucchini with onions and my husband had asparagus, we both ate every last bite. My husband had the cod special, which was very good. I had the chicken it was good but they... More

What a wonderful historic home and what a delicious healthy lunch. If your going to Antique Archeology store in LeClaire, IA, this is a must stop. Not busy, a little hard to find, but great service and wonderful food. Not expensive(:

Very good menu and staff, the place is so quaint being that it is in an old Victorian house on a hill above the river. I eat a vegetarian diet, and the chef was more than happy to accommodate me.

Crane and Pelican is located in a great old historic house. The food is fresh and the menu is awesome. C&P uses local fare in their menu. A great selection of cocktails pairs well with the food!

Just when we were thinking we couldn't find any good food in Le Claire, we stumbled upon the Crane & Pelican. Our meals were delicious, fresh, and served in a beautiful vintage atmosphere. The service was wonderful too. We would definitely go back for more.

Birthday dinner with wife and Father. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful and the experience was relaxing. I especially loved the cream of portobello soup. My Dad had the filet, medium rare and said it was the best he had ever had.

Service was exceptional with suggestions made when we asked. Food was amazing. My father-in-law said it was the best filet he has ever had! Loved every minute and every bite.

Stopped in for lunch, first time visit but the place came highly recommended. Three of the four of us had the burgers, the other chose the Salmon - all good choices. The meals came out fairly quickly and we loved their homemade Lemoncello.
