We ordered a take-out lunch order for our entire family during our recent visit to Iowa to see our newest granddaughter. Immediately upon entering the restaurant both I and my son noticed a very rank smell that made us both want to puke. NO WAY we could have stayed and eaten there. SO glad our order was a pick-up order.... More

We recently moved back to the Des Moines area after 5 year. When ever we get out of town guests the Radish is where we take them. We can always count on the service and the food. Our Favorite!!!

I waited 8 years before giving them another chance. The crab cakes were still wet inside from undercooking, Which isn't good with cooked eggs. The medium well sirloin was still rare with cool red inside. The medium sirloin was also served rare. The au Poivre brandy cream sauce was a brown gravy without peppercorns. The green beans tasted frozen. The... More

We've been coming to Des Moines for Business for nine years. Five years ago we discovered Radish. We make it a point to visit every year. The Manicotti it the best I've ever eaten!

This is a nice, small restaurant in Grimes. The food is very good with good portions. The prices are a little high for Grimes, IA.

Small and cozy atmosphere. Great wine list. We had the coconut encrusted tilapia and the steak. Both were great. The house salad came with a radish... Cute connection to the restaurant name. We had the Italian wedding cake for desert, and it was the perfect treat!

Sooooo glad Mike McGuigan is back in the kitchen. The Cajun Cajun fettuccine was great and the grimy chips are my favorite. A world of difference a person can make!

The radish and the corn patch are both hidden gems in the Des Moines metro area, located in grimes, is a bit of an edge suburb but well worth the find.

Went here for the first time early in August. The restaurant has a modest, homestyle feel and very polite staff. All of the food is delicious. You haven't fully experienced Iowa unless you've eaten a breaded tenderloin and theirs is decadent. The breading differs from most in that it is "softer" and the spices in the breading gives it a... Sunday brunch at The Radish was plentiful and delicious. Made-to-order omelets, assorted pastries and many hot dishes such as pancakes, hash, link sausage, bacon, fried chicken, rice pilaf and various other surprises. The service was great; all the employees were friendly and actually looked as if they were enjoying their work. We took a peek at the menu and will... More
