Lots of beer and cool ambiance. Did not have any food. Nothing amazing, just a simple British bar to have some whiskey or beer

I've never had a bad meal here. The prices are pretty fair, and their beer and whiskey selection is quite good. The ingelhoffer is one of my favorites.

The Royal Mile is a dim lit pub, with lots of beer selection and awesome food. I enjoyed a veggie burger that was cooked to perfection, with a nice kick to it. I stop in every now an then to have a pint when I'm in town, young staff is friendly and easy to talk too

Wonderful beer selection. Food was fun; interesting options. So close to a 5th star. Missing ambiance that would have pushed it over the top.

While every other place was packed and a zoo the Royal mile was a great find. Sat outside which was quiet and pleasant. Food was great. Best bangers I have ever had. Incredible selection of beers.

I have had fish and chips in many places but Royal Mile is my favorite. Love the joint. Parking is a Royal Pain but it is worth the walk. Uber. Lyft. Parking ticket.

Amongst other heritages my Keltic (mostly Black Scott but some Irish too) background is what flows through my viens the most (about 65%). Because of this, I grew up eating Scottish foods such as Scottish Eggs (traditionally a travelers food in Scotland), listening to bagpipes and owning and seeing men in my family wearing Kilts. Scottish Eggs was always one... More

Great menu, had the goat cheese balls and tried a variety of beers, all were good. The bartenders are friendly and there's an outdoor patio area but beware, it's next to a music venue that hosts a lot of metal bands and it's not pleasant to be outside during one of their performances.
