Well, my wife and i went here to celebrate our 4 years of wedded bliss and it was rated as one of the top romantic restaurants on the tripadvisor website. I will have to concur as our whole experience here was well received and good service. We had one of those waitresses that gave you the honest skinny on what... More

My friend and I went downtown to experience a play at the Civic Center period we ate it Bojangles and enjoyed our food and the service was wonderful. Would recommend this restaurant to anybody. It is a little pricey but worth it.

This place is so good! We landed on this restaurant because we were getting going pretty late and a lot of other restaurants were closing at 9pm, where as Django stays open until 10pm Mon-Thu. One of my colleagues ordered the scallops which she said were large and delicious. Another ordered the pepper steak which looked amazing and was also... More

The staff is excellent exceeded only by the food. Their fries are fabulous. The accompanying aioli is wonderful and quite possibly the best French onion soup around. A downtown restaurant you shouldn't miss

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Des Moines. First of all, you don't feel like you are in the Midwest. I love that you can bring wine and there isn't a corkage fee. My favorite appetizer is the Poutine, it's the best I've tried, it's very heavy though, so be careful not to ruin your dinner. I've also... More

Our two families were first-time diners on what can be a VERY busy day for those restaurants willing to stay open, Easter Sunday! We had reservations, and the staff handled our table-of-eight incredibly well. And yes, the food was delicious, and I am 100% confident I will return. Délicieux!

I met associates for lunch and one of them recommended the omelette and they had a few versions of them. Being a more traditional diner I chose the ham & cheese and was not disappointed. Service was great, prompt and attentive, food wonderful, and a great ambiance makes for a worthwhile experience. Give the eggs a try, for lunch!

Out of towner - was suggested try this place. What a nice restaurant in Downtown Des Moines. Great menu Nice wine list and Happy Hour special all Tuesday Night. Had the Cheese tray and Scallops. Awesome. Our waitress had impeccable service. Only downside is we were seated in a room very loud. Will be back.

My wife and I wanted to have late lunch/ early dinner. We did not have reservation but we were at the opening 4:00 PM sharp. The hostess glanced into the computer screen and told us that there will be place to sit in ninety ( 90 minutes)!!!tered We looked around and saw that the establishment was almost completely empty, with... I was there on business and we enjoyed very good food and service. There is a bustling scene in this very well appointed restaurant. I had the beef bourguignon which was very good.
