We had the chip Plate for an appetizer. They were a little salty with seasoning but the seasoning had a great flavor! The dipping sauce tasted like horseradish, mustard and thousand island dressing all mixed together...it was dee-lish-is! We had the Bangers and Hash and also the Corned Beef and Cabbage. Both were excellent! The half size of Corned Beef... More

We went to the restaurant with a group of friends to enjoy drinks, appetizers, and desserts. There was live Irish music playing, which was good. The food we had was delicious and the drinks were good too. My husband and I tried a bite of our friends mussels and they were yummy. Neither of us usually like mussels. I highly... More

Daughter and I stopped here for lunch before going to a movie. Was seated immediately and ordered our drinks and an appetizer of Goat Cheese Fritter. Very tasty! I ordered the Guiness Stew. It is nice that you can get this dish and other dishes in a half order. I ordered the half order and it was just the right... More

This is the best restaurant and bar near Purdue University. The owners - Jerry & Jan, paid great attention to detail in designing and building both the physical structure of the restaurant, and of their menu and entertainment options. They sourced all of their authentic furnishings and fixtures through buying trips to Ireland, so the place really feels like you're... More

It is a well appointed pub with real Irish music playing. The food unfortunately was near dreadful. I tried the fish and chips. Haddock was very good but their excuse for chips was past disappointing, Not just the cut (round chips) but the seasoning they had gone overboard with made them salty and inedible.Little clue they have been serving it... We've never been to this location of 9 Irish Brothers, but walked down from campus where we were attending the Purdue Jazz Festival on an incredibly balmy January day. The interior is cozy. My husband had a Reuben sandwich he said was great with incredibly tender corned beef. I had a BLT that was yummy. They have a large selection... More

We were in town visiting Purdue University. Based on great reviews of Nine Irish Brothers, we decided to dine there, particularly on a Saturday evening, because they served Prime Rib (only Fri & Sat). We ordered the prime rib, Brother Jim's shepherd's pie and Tiger Mike's fish and chips. Look at the photo of the prime rib - perfection! The... More

Great place!!! Pub chips are excellent. Authentic irish food and drink. Even just a cheeseburger is served with pride. The owners are usually on site and enjoy visiting customers and making friends. The story of " nine iris brothers" is printed around the store and they love to share with customers.

The atmosphere is authentic and fun and family appropriate during the day. The food is decent.... okay, maybe I'd even say good. .. but nothing to write home about.

I went there with a group of work colleagues. They have a selection of all of the typical Irish fare plus a few other things added in. I had the Shepherd's Pie which was more than good and everyone was happy with their meals. Surprisingly for an Irish pub, they didn't pour a great pint of Guinness - it was... More

Description
Nine Irish Brothers is an award-winning traditional Irish pub--recently named the Best Irish Pub in the State of Indiana by Yelp and Buzzfeed--with two convenient locations in Greater Lafayette, Indiana, and a third location in the heart of Massachusetts Avenue in Indianapolis. Our family-owned-and-operated restaurant serves premium Irish food and spirits and has a full bar and menu, with items ranging from salads to steak to Irish favorites such as Guinness Stew, Shepherd's Pie, and Fish & Chips. Well-behaved patrons of all ages are welcome from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., unless circumstances prohibit minors (e.g. large, rowdy bands). Nine Irish Brothers is proud to be smoke-free. We also feature live Irish entertainment on most weekend nights. We take reservations for parties of six or more people.
