The starter crab cakes were not flavorful; they were simply o.k., I wondered if they were a combo of crab and white fish. the fried corn on it was excellent. The crab asparagus soup was overwhelmed by the asparagus flavor AND the thickness of the...More

Although we live in South Bend, it had been about a year since we enjoyed our previous dining experience at East Bank Emporium. It boasts an enviable location right on the banks of the Saint Joseph River, with a fine view of downtown South Bend...More

Came around 6:30 PM, and a pretty sunny day. Great views of the water and the bike/walk path next-door. Drinks are reasonable and a good cocktail selection. I really loved the hummus appetizer plate, It came with three different kinds of hummus pita squares and...More

The restaurant is tucked away by the river so you often have a wonderful view of the river and people going by running, walking their dogs or just strolling enjoying the day. I had the filet which was excellent. Can't wait to go back.

This place has a good atmosphere and pretty good food. There wasn't any beer on tap, which was weird. The rest of the bar was great. Outdoor seating right by the river was nice. Food was good.

Noisy atmosphere, watery cocktails, bland food, and poor service. I have to say that I was honestly disappointed by this restaurant. We spent about $70 for an appetizer, drinks, and main courses. The tilapia oscar was dry and bland. We had to request a drink...More

There is a loft which will hold 30-40 people. We had occasion to use it for a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner in July. It was very hot in the upper portion of the main dining area, and quite a lot of noise from below. On top of... More
