Some things seem extremely overpriced. No bread for the table or anything similar. Kids menu has 3 options. No coloring or entertainment of any kind for the children and the atmosphere makes it feel as if they aren't welcome. The food you get is delicious, but wouldn't come back here as a family without much provocation.

I have been here many times and would normally give them 5 stars. But last night they served pan seared escolar. Great taste , wonderful dish but ohhhhh the side effects. Google escolar and you'll see it's a deep water fish that has a problem. It's waxy Esther's cause diarrhea. I googled it after dinner, mentioned it to the waiter... More

Went here for a nice dinner out after being out of town for a while. Had come before wanting a dry aged steak but they were out and tonight they had it. Sadly, half the meat tasted rotten and was not edible!!! Advised the waitress, who said she would tell the kitchen but offered no apology. No one in management... More

Went here about 2 months ago, heard that they had the best aged steaks in town. The waiter was attentive without hovering, and took the time to expound on the owners philosophy on buying local products and such. Everything was top notch, including the Medoc, they have a great wine list, puts the one at Sorins in the Morris Inn on... More

During a family visit to Norte Dame stopped into the Corndance Tavern for lunch. Interesting menu with an emphasis on locally sourced foods. Ordered the Bison meatloaf special. This is a generous slab of bison meatloaf on a large delicious bed of mashed potato and covered with a rich savory sauce. A side salad option in place of fries is... More

Been here several times and never disappointed. Menu changes periodically, unusual items such as the sword of John Adams and cake in a can dessert. Reaves was out server and was so outstanding I'd ask for her again. My wife and I shared a 20 ounce porterhouse steak which was aged 55 days. Our lovely companions or the sword of... More

Fine dining w/ unique farm to table menu. Ambience is good (not great), but the exceptional food and service makes it worth the trip. If you are hungry for some meat, try the sword!!! A literal saber loaded w/ a mix of meat cuts. Delicious and bountiful.

Corndance has an extensive menu, but their aged beef is special. The service is first-rate and the cuisine is some of the best in the South Bend-Mishawaka area. There may be no disappointments here.

I ate here with some friends, made reservations because I expected it to be busy. It was a Sunday evening but probably half of the tables were empty. Our server was very good and rattled off the specials with ease. I had the bison meatloaf which was quite good. The only drawback was that some of the crispy onion rings... More

Description
Established in 2010 Corndance Tavern presents classic tastes of the Midwest with metropolitan sophistication. Our highly trained staff strive to provide a truly memorable dining experience; professional service, fresh local food presented in a dynamic fashion, and the perfect beverage make your Corndance experience one to remember! Our steaks are dry aged and cut in-house, using midwestern beef fed on grain and grass with no steroids or hormones. We buy produce from local farms, including year-round indoor farming operations in southern Michigan. Our seafood comes straight from the Great Lakes, and what we cannot get locally, we get flown in from around the United States every day. Our wine list is composed of new-world wines from the Americas. You will not find microwaves and frozen food at Corndance--just fresh, local food, inspired by the seasons.
