We moved into the area from the Far East side and decided to stop in and have breakfast. This place is so cool and the pecan roll and butterscotch roll are incredible. There is tons of great food and novelties. Worth the visit. We know where we are coming for our holiday cookies.

This is a one of a kind fun place you would have to see to believe! They really have a German thing going on! Some of the signs are hilarious. It is crammed full of old photos, memorabilia, figurines, oddities, an old juke box. And then there are the pastries! I had a piece of the lemon marzipan kuchen and... More

Another couple recommended Heidelberg Haus so we went with them one day. I'm blown away by this place. It is wall to wall German from the first second. They have anything in the world that could be considered German. So, if nothing else, that's like an interesting museum trip for any age. You can eat there, but the menu is... More

I tell everyone that comes to Indianapolis to make sure and stop here for lunch. This is a true hole-in-the-wall place. It has so much going on in it. The food is wonderful, the staff is top-notch, and the decor is cool. The food is home cooked and served on real plates with real silverware. Portions are perfect size and... More

On a recent trip with my parents, siblings and spouses, we stopped here on our way to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. To say that the food is good would be an understatement. We all tried different sausages on the menu, including bierstube brats, farmer's brats, and kielbasa, all of which were VERY good. But, the star of the show: the... More

Charming little place to enjoy a limited but tasty German menu. The bratwurst was good and the potato salad was excellent! There is a very nice bakery inside, filled with delicious looking treats. The best part about the place was all of the trinkets to buy inside, including an out of this world gnome collection. I recommend this place as... More

We often stop here on our way home from Indy. A great place to pick up tasty bakery. The variety of wonderful Danishs is worth the detour. The restaurant food is decent German fair, but the desserts are the stars of the show.

This is an Authenic German cuisine. They have been featured on the Food Network TV as one of the best places to eat in Indy. The Baked goods are EXCELLENT

Had a great lunch and it was like walking thru 1000 gift shops in one building.Everything and I mean everything had a story. The owner was very interesting to chat with. Read the newspaper clipping on wall . Was an experience.
