This is a great little place to go for lunch and get take out. It is a tiny little place, but the food is wonderful. The guy who was taking orders was kind of rude and looked like he really did not want to be there, but other than that it was a good experience. I got the Chicken Lo... More
It's exactly what you'd expect from your typical Chinese delivery joint. Food was delivered hot. Got bonus Crab Rangoons for the amount we ordered in the office. Prices were reasonable. Enough food for leftovers the next day too (If you're not a huge eater)
Had some take out here today. Had General Tso Chicken. It was pretty yummy, the price was good, it was cooked fresh, and a decent portion. The restaurant is small with just a few tables. It's on a bit of a sketchy street with bail bonds and check cashing place neighbors. It's rigt across from the city market which is... More
I've been going to China King for years. I've gotten take-out food from many different Chinese places in this town, and this one is the best by far. Not gourmet cooking, just nice quality food, fresh vegetables, large servings and a great price. My personal favorite is Hunan bean-curd. Seems to me that reviewers giving fewer stars are unfairly comparing... More
I am a huge fan of eggrolls, for me it makes or breaks a chinese restaurant. These were tasteless, greasy and made me nauseated. Food was very large portions but flavorless. It's fast and cheap, and you couldn't pay me to sit down an eat inside because it seems filthy, but if you're looking for enough mediocre food to last... More
They do have big portions especially the chicken lo mein but after I saw they had several health violations decided to go somewhere else. Shrimp doesn't taste right kind of rubbery like it was stored wrong temperature.
The portions are big. The clientele leaves something to be desired - -lot's of homeless / indigent in this area. The service is friendly and fast. Prices are low. It's OK for lunch. The taste - -well -- about average and a bit plain.
The real deal, an authentic chinese carryout. I have been going there for 18 years. LOVE the shrimp mala. They do such perfectly cooked vegetables and nice fresh shrimp never overcooked. So many good dishes. They always find some hardworking competent young chinese woman to run the front desk and get the orders in and out FAST! Eating in tiny... More
