$6 for a sizable 1/2 Gyro. Between quality meat and a great, fresh cucumber sauce, as good as any in the city. Accompanied with delightful spanakopita ($8) and served by a charming young lady. This is a nice place that deserves a visit.

I ordered the spicy gyro to go. Very tasty, loads of lamb in he sandwich. Topped with cucumber sauce. Make sure you have a drink handy because it is spicy!

Wanted simple (I thought) request for a $8.99 (large) gyros. BUT didn't want pita bread and didn't want cucumber sauce but DID ask for a lot of raw sliced onions. Thought (incorrectly) no pita and sauce would offset request for onions. No, was charged additional for 3 slices of onion, bill total was $10.34. Attitude was that's the policy for... More

Store bought hummus no longer cuts it - and I can blame Sam's Gyros. I really have become that snobbish of a hummus fanatic - and this spot has some of the best. I love the atmosphere and after a hard day - I was one of those customers: those who come in close to closing, but I was served... More

Excellent gyros, delicious french fries, great service at a fair price. What more could you ask for in fast food?

I was disappointment in the quality of the food compared to the price. The meat or the gyros was very dry with little cucumber sauce and the pitas were cheap store bought and seemed a bit stale. I would recommend going elsewhere given the price and quality.

The gyro's were really nothing special, rather bland sauce. Service was very slow even though they weren't very busy.

I am just so excited to live in the SoBro area. Finally, I live in a real jazzy part of town with amazing food I can walk to. And not just one great place near me, but several - Sam's Gyros, included. Love the ambiance inside - and it seems to attract less of the drunken ego crowd I can't... More

Sam's Gyros has been a longtime favorite of my family. We went when it was just a small single storefront, and have watched it enlarge and improve. All the while, the gyros and salads have been great. It's on an easy to access corner in Sobro. Plenty of seating in its enlarged dining area. Great homey service. Reasonable prices in... More

They have some of the best hummus around. Even the small order is too much for two people. They serve it with piping hot pita bread that goes with perfectly. It's a little hole in the wall place but a good bite to eat if you're in the area.
