My wife and I stopped by from out of town. My wife had fried fish and I had the Mexican Chicken. Great portions and delicious sides. This is now a must stopover place on any Evansville visit.

This is a mom and pop local restaurant that truly shines with my meatloaf, green beans, fries with gravy, and salad. Great value for $9.95. It's not the nicest from the outside and yes could use a good cleaning but it's really really good. Looking forward to eating the chocolate pie that I got to go.

On the "Lloyd", west side of town. Old place that just keeps on putting out the down home food everyone enjoys at a reasonable price. The ladies have been there forever and yup.....they're just like grandma........

I went to the Cross-Eyed Cricket out of curiosity and after hearing some good things about the place. I like the atmosphere of the place. It has a homey and old time feel. I ordered a country fried steak meal with eggs, hash browns, bisquits & gravy, and a slice of pecan pie. The country fried steak was tough and... More

Breakfast was great. Love the bacon and biscuits. Service was fast and friendly!!! Don't let the outside scare you away. The food makes up for it.

I guess this a locals place for sure. The restaurant is very small and old. They serve all 3 squares there and everything is what I would call comfort food. We went for breakfast and had to wait a while before being greeted or seated. We ended up spending around $50.00 for two kids and two adults which to me... More

Very friendly service. Pancakes, sausage, eggs, and country ham was good. I got the 6oz chopped steak breakfast and the chopped steak tasted like the meat was going bad. When the waitress picked up our plates she came back to our table and asked me if there was something wrong with the chopped steak and I told her it tasted... More
