Good food and good, friendly service in an attractive pub-like atmosphere. The Indiana tenderloin sandwich is always tender and delicious. The mini-tenderloin is a normal size sandwich and the regular is twice as big, about the size of a plate. The house chicken velvet soup is also very tasty, even better with a few drops of hot sauce.

My wife and I have eaten here often and we love it. Food is great, atmosphere is charming, great ownership and staff. If you want a great steak or Doug's famous stew this is the place. And his homemade soups are awesome. And cocktails are yummy too. Bill & Julie

We had a party of 8 and all of our food was excellent. Our server Toni was on top of everything, she has a wonderful personality and it shows she likes her job. She was very helpful on suggestions . They have a large menu so there is something for everyone. 4 people had their tenderloins and they were all... More

Lunch at Dooley O'Tooles was very good. Its Chicken Velvet Soup was excellent--very reminiscent of Ayres Tearoom's and far superior to the Chicken Velvet Soup served at the replica Ayres Tearoom at the Indiana State Museum. Service was excellent and the prices were very fair---most items were in the $6-$9 range.

Our church group met at Dooley O'Toole's today for lunch and had a great experience. Centrally located on East Carmel Drive, this is the place where locals return again and again to enjoy comfort food and beverages. This long-standing restaurant has served hungry Carmelites for more than 30 years, so it must have kept everyone happy and well fed. Their... More

I recently met some friends here for lunch (six in our party, four were "regulars"). There were several items that caught my attention on the menu. The restaurant was quite busy and tables were filled. Popular place. They are open for lunch and dinner M-F and for dinner Saturday. Closed on Sunday. I was told they buy from a local... More

Dooley O'Toole's has been a Carmel staple for more than 30 years, located on East Carmel Drive, close to everyone. On Wednesday evenings, cars and hot rods show up to display their chrome and engines. For lunch and dinner, the locals frequent this restaurant to share stories and to enjoy freshly prepared food. A fully equipped bar also makes this... More

Standard American fare and mid century decor awaits at this long established place. It's sort of an Irish stew with a BLT for lunch or somewhat fancier dishes for supper kind of place. While it hosts a bar area, the joint ain't exactly jumpin'.

I was happily surprised with my food and service because the last time (3-4 years ago) I was quite disappointed. I was reluctant when a friend suggested we meet here for lunch. Great lunch menu with delicious daily specials as well as soups. The menu has something for everyone. We were pleased with our server who was very friendly and... More
