We visited Athens and were looking for a place to eat authentic Greek food and were referred to Arsenis Tavern. It was the best experience ever. The service was outstanding with live music and the most delicious food. The Greek yogurt dip, the queso flameado, the cheese balls and the lamb were my favorite. We enjoyed the service, the food... I came in late Sunday night after reading reviews about the moussaka and I was not disappointed. The restaurant was empty because of the time and I thought perhaps they would be closed. But I was served and got to enjoy my very own private dining experience. I had the mountain greens which were delicious and the moussaka. I couldn't... More

We were on a school trip and this was our first dinner! The food was amazing and hit the spot. The manager/owner was a lovely man and hand delivered our food to the table ensuring that everyone was enjoying it and the quality was acceptable. We came at the perfect time as we were the only customers in the restaurant.... More

The Greek salad was pretty standard, apart from ice-cold tomatoes, but the bread to accompany it was delicious: thick slices of toasted rustic bread, soaked with olive oil and dressed with herbs. The grilled white fish was outstanding, one of the best I’ve ever enjoyed, though why it comes with drab boiled potatoes is a mystery. Following, and on the... More

Had an enjoyable meal of Greek salad and moussaka on a whirlwind visit to Athens. This is a family run restaurant with the daughter and Father very hospitable, very willing to please us. After we had finished our lovely meal we were given a bowl of Greek yogurt honey and nuts on the house. Really yummy.
