If you like noodles they have a nice selection to choose from. Otherwise, just eat the desserts. :-)

My wife and I have been going here for years and it is our default restaurant whenever we want takeout. We generally stick with the weekly specials and have never been disappointed in all the years that we eaten at this place. The trend in recent years is to upscale/seasonalize the specials and it seems to be working well. The... More
Pasta was so overcooked I thought it to be from a can. My date had the fettuccine Alfredo and it was like wallpaper paste, while I had the bolognese and it was like eating sloppy joe's.
I want to like this place. It's been around Wilmette for at least 20 years, so they must be doing something right. But, every time I go, something goes wrong. Screaming kids at the table next to us, wine that gets spilled by busboys, dishes that are not al dente, or, on weekends, overcrowded and incredibly noisy. Not for grumpy... More
We continue to love this restaurant: lots of different pasta options, and chicken/fish with pasta pairings. Also a good wine selection (and a few beers, bottled...not draft). Service is usually good--the other night, server seemed more occupied with friends at another table, but others covered for her.
Over the years, this smallish restaurant has expanded its menu to more than pasta. However, the pasta is still very good as are other dishes. I and two companions had the very good vegetarian lasagna. It was served with a choice of soup or salad. I had the vegetarian split bean, and it was good. Another companion had a salmon... More
The pastas here are fresh. Why? Cuz they make them in house and you can even watch. White, spinach, fettuccini, Angel hair and many other varieties of pasta and then choose your sauce or mix your sauces, maybe a little marinara or Alfredo. But that's not all. Daily specials could be chicken or fish or ???? Carry out is available.... More
The Noodle is a long time great local restaurant. The specials are always good. Lots of options on pastas and sauces. The BBQ pork tenderloin is very good and don't miss the tomato basil soup and the warm garlic bread. It is a very reliable "go-to" place for us
The food is always delicious. We recently enjoyed some pasta dishes (lasagna was especially tasty), salmon and salads. Their Caesar pasta salad was great! The place is small so the tables are packed in. There is no private conversation and the place was noisy. We had a slight wait for a table and there isn't a lot of space for... More
