I had been to another Bishop's location 25+ years ago. The chili was as good as I remembered. If you want an outstanding bowl of chili, this is the place to go. No frills. No credit cards. Just really good food.

While this is not the original Bishop's Chili location (18th St. and Damen Ave.), they still make the original recipe just like they used to. And they serve piping hot bowls of deliciousness with tiny oyster crackers on the side. Yum!
We had a taste for chili and stopped in here. Kind of hidden away on Cass but long standing establishment with great food

I have been eating Bishop's chili for 50 years. It doesn't get any better. There's nothing like a couple bowls of chili and a few beers.
Wonderful flavor. Best chili ever. I just did take out this time. But love love their chili. Love the vinegar pepper hit sauce and one of the few places that serve filberts root beer. Yum!
