The food was delicious and authentic Lebanese food and plentiful! The owners were so friendly. We took our just-graduated from RTC, son and they treated him so kindly! Prices very reasonable.

Wow....great Lebanese place with lots of other menu options. We loved their Dolmas. This place is very clean and the food is really spectacular. It's a family run place and it really shows in all the best ways.

I was so excited to see a Lebanese restaurant with such high reviews when planning my trip to Waukegan. This restaurant did not let me down!!! Superb food! The owners go above and beyond to make the dinners experience pleasant. Also, the restaurant was extremely clean which is a huge plus for me. The prices are so low, I'd say... More

A little place with a lot of heart. I grew up in Chicago and I now have made Waukegan my home and Papa Marcos has that old Chicago neighborhood feel. The owners are very kind and accommodating to your needs. From breakfast to dinner there is something for everyone. The food has a Mediterranean theme but the menu crosses over... More

Thought at first this might be an Italian joint, and walking into the restaurant, the decor is wonderfully and amusingly pan-ethnic. We ordered the Lebanese options and we are quite experienced with Lebanse food, but this place had some of the best we've tasted. The dolmas, which are hard to get the way I remember them, were unusual but delicious.... More

My friends and I are always on the look-out for Lebanese restaurants. When we heard about Papa Marcos in Waukegan, we went there not knowing what to expect. Here's what we found: The restaurant is like the old-fashioned diners of olden times: small, clean and simple. It is run by a young couple, Marina and Michael. Marina attended to our... More

What a gem this is! We've tried all the wraps and, while the beef Kifta is our favorite, all feature great grilled veggies and perfectly grilled meat. The service is attentive and very friendly. While small, the decor is nice and this is one of the cleanest places I've ever seen. Great hummus, solid falafel and I've paid twice as... More

In an area that is a food desert, this place is a 10. The selection of food, price, and cleanliness is a frequented place for lunch professionals. It becomes so busy, parking can be tricky at times but its worth it. I suggest the lunch special #1... filling and leaves you craving more.

Worth finding your way to Papa Marcos. Don't miss the chicken soup starter or the Veggie Combo tray.
