This was my first time visiting Papa Marcos. The food was great. The service is great. I found my new favorite place.

My friends and I are always on the look-out for Lebanese restaurants. When we heard about Papa Marcos in Waukegan, we went there not knowing what to expect. Here's what we found: The restaurant is like the old-fashioned diners of olden times: small, clean and simple. It is run by a young couple, Marina and Michael. Marina attended to our... More

What a gem this is! We've tried all the wraps and, while the beef Kifta is our favorite, all feature great grilled veggies and perfectly grilled meat. The service is attentive and very friendly. While small, the decor is nice and this is one of the cleanest places I've ever seen. Great hummus, solid falafel and I've paid twice as... More

In an area that is a food desert, this place is a 10. The selection of food, price, and cleanliness is a frequented place for lunch professionals. It becomes so busy, parking can be tricky at times but its worth it. I suggest the lunch special #1... filling and leaves you craving more.

Worth finding your way to Papa Marcos. Don't miss the chicken soup starter or the Veggie Combo tray.

7 friends were going to the Genessee theatre for a concert and stopped in to dinner beforehand. What a find! The people who run it, Marco and Marlene are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. It's a really eclectic little place, decorated in a style I've never seen before but cute and comfortable nonetheless. Nice menu with all kinds of mid-eastern... More

This was a great spot for lunch and the menu had something for all members of my family. The kibbee was the favorite and the copious amounts of Greek yogurt sauce made it even better. Highly recommend.

Love going here for pizza for one. Also their homemade soups. Very good. They also have a variety of ice creams. It's very busy during the summer months since it's right across the street from Six Flags; but it's smaller, cozy and family owned.

very good food - made by an unbelievably friendly service from the husband/wife/staff. The place not only serves middle eastern type foods, but has the usual hot dogs/ burger/ beefs/fries. But i've only ever ate the middle eastern foods - which are spectacular.
