The best thing about this place is there pizza, but ordering is great especially once you become a regular. They keep track of special deals and give u whatever discounts are available. We have been buying our pizza's from Al's for over ten years and it's always consistently good.

I always order pizza and it is always cooked to perfection. Friendly owners and staff. Not a sit down restaurant. If you never ate here you should try it.

This is a solid pizza take out joint. My favorite there is the $5.50 two slices and a drink lunch special. Their sauce has that traditional bite to it and the crust is thin enough to avoid the bready aspect of Americanized pies like those at Dominoes and Little Caesars.

Great neighborhood pizza take-out place. Owners and staff are friendly and their thin crust pizza is great.

We were looking for a sit down chicago style pizza place. So, when we arrived and it was carryout we were somewhat disappointed. After a series of questions, we decided on the hand tossed Luau. It was good, though the sauce appeared to be sweet, more like bbq sauce. It could have been this specific pizza. If I lived here... More

I'd originally classified this restaurant as "average," but upon trying other menu offerings would have to reclassify it as very good to excellent. While I didn't care for the spiciness of their thin-crust pizza, their deep-dish pizza was simply outstanding and even a small was large enough for two people. Other carry-out choices, such as chicken parmesan, feature tasty and... More

The pizza wasn't bad but it wasn't great either -- kind of OK-plus. Spicy red sauce had good flavor and sausage was good as well, but the crust and cheese barely broke ordinary. I'd be inclined to try other things on their menu while still searching for the great pizza. Nice people and a very nice catering menu.

Pizza Italia has been our standard go-to for deep dish pizza. When we have friends from Philly or family from Minny, they always ask for Pizza Italia. We have never, ever, had a bad experience. The pizzas are delicious, the sauce is - well- amazing. The people are very courteous, prompt with delivery. You cannot go wrong with Pizza Italia!

This tiny pizza place is a hidden gem on the far West side of Vernon Hills, Illinois. Like I said, this place is tiny and I mean as in your typical carry out pizza place tiny. However, the food is quite the opposite. Both their pan and thin crust pizza is explosive in the taste bud department. I highly recommend... More

We love their thin crust and their double-dough. A little pricey, but well worth it for the quality. Out of town guests are always impressed.
