Really pricey but very good! Interesting gourmet delicacies and products from all over and independent artisan food makers (nice for gifts but $$). Bagels, soups, salads are all good, fish and lox outstanding, and pastries and cakes are all outstanding. My son says these are the best brownies he's ever had and the pistachio/cranberry mondel brot (biscatti) is to die... More

Our favorite Deli! This Delicatessen has been around for years. Food still great and now has an eat in area. Sunday mornings they play music. Can't say enough good things about this place. We are taking out food and bagels, rye bread and rolls at least once a week.

They have a sandwich here called the Happy Chanukah that involves pastrami and potato pancakes. First of all, it's a ton of food. Second, I don't know how it could've been improved - it was amazing. There was a tiny line, but it moved very quickly. Fabulous!

We have always purchased their tuna. I also get some for my son when we visit them in Indy. Highly recommended.

I was at Kaufman's twice in the last two weeks to bring food home for dinner. First visit--pastrami, brisket, potato pancakes, pickles, French onion rolls = happy husband. Second visit went the fish route--Chicago-style white fish salad, hickory-smoked salmon & peppered sable fish, bagels, chive cream cheese, rye bread = happy husband part deux. This a first-class deli with a... More

If you love classic Jewish delicatessen food, indeed this is the real deal! Corned beef, Pastrami, Salami, Chubs, Lox, Matzah ball soup, new pickles, a few of my favorites. All kinds of meats, fish, salads, soups, bakery goods and breads including rye breads and of course bagels, etc. It's a bit pricey, but competitive with other equivalent deli's. I go... More

Whatever you order will be authentic and good( GREAT!). Standout for me is their herring. Bagels and cream-cheeses are wonderful. Try it. Order whatever you usually do at your local deli and you will be coming back to Kaufman's.

I had the pastrami on rye and split a potato salad with my brother. It was all good and what I'd expect from a large city deli. We have nothing that compares in the Tacoma area.

Sometimes we get a hankering for a deli sandwich. The best pastrami is found at Kaufman's and that's what my husband orders every time we go...on rye bread with Thousand Island dressing and cole slaw. The pickle is also excellent. I usually have the tongue on marble rye with brown mustard. It hits the spot. This isn't a fancy place.... More

Workers are always available and extremely helpful. Food is consistently fresh and good. Prices are reasonable.
