Town House Books and Cafe is the perfect location for 2-5 to meet. Although the dining area is small, it is intimate and full of charm. The food is always fresh and delicious. It feels like gourmet breakfast, brunch, or lunch but not at gourmet pricing. The trip is worth the soups and featured quiche. Whenever I am there, it... More

Love stopping by this small shop to find some of the latest titles - coffee shop, also small and quaint provides the perfect setting for that warm drink after buying good book.

This charming little café has great lunchtime food. It is worth waiting if there is a line. Wonderful sandwiches, salads and quiche. Enjoy your visit and pick up a couple of books while you are there.

I've eaten at this quaint, locally owned establishment several times recently with different friends. It has always been a delightful experience of creative and delicious food! Whether it's the chicken salad, hummus plate, hamburger, soup of the day, or any other of the many items on the menu, everything is presented pleasingly and tastes delicious. Even when the tables are... More

Town House Cafe is located in a book store. It's very homey and quaint. The food is fresh and made there. I love their quiche and sandwiches. Don't miss their pie, so delicious.

After passing Town House Books and Cafe for years I finally decided to go there. There was a bit of a line to get in so we put our name on the list and browsed the bookstore. It was delightful! We lost track of time and the next thing we new we were seated. The food was fantastic and the... More

This restaurant is always a great place for lunch in the heart of St. Charles. The food is made from scratch and you will never be disappointed. Popular place so there is usually a wait. A true hidden jem!

The atmosphere was an intimate cafe in a bookstore. It was very nice, but that may be a problem for a large group because there isn't a lot of wiggle room. The food was excellent and we got to look at books while we waited for our table. Yes

We love going here for their wonderful lunches! It's a quaint restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Love their unique sandwiches and the desserts are fantastic! Friendly and helpful waitstaff. The only thing we have ever had an issue with is the loudness of the restaurant. It's a popular cafe in St Charles so get there early if you need more... More
